(SUMMARY) Basic function and scope:

Responsible for software and hardware configuration management process and execution.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

·        Develop and maintain configuration management process.

·        Execute configuration management process from planning, execution, monitoring and audits.

·        Provide technical CM support and guidance as needed to ensure the integrity of CM environment and projects.

·        Ensure proper baseline identification of configuration items.

·        Define optimum solutions for configuration management process automation

·        Conduct periodically function and physical audits

·        Signals any deviation detected in the IT infrastructure or hardware.

·        Engages with other departments to keep an up-to-date view on their activities.

·        Responsible for internal and external configuration management artifacts

·        Communicate reports with higher management levels.

·        Analyze CM issues and conduct root cause analysis

 

Required skills and qualifications:

1.      Education: BS.C of computer science or Engineering.

2.      Experience: 3+ years.

3.      Understanding of the application development life cycle

4.      Redmine

5.      TFS

6.      Enterprise architect case tool

 

Work contacts:

·        Team leader – working with the team leader effectively working across multiple projects and delivering to deadlines.

·        Developers, UI designers, Graphic designers, QC testers and Portals – working closely with the development/ engineering teams.
