(SUMMARY) Basic function and scope:

Responsible for software and hardware configuration management process and execution.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

1.     Develop and maintain configuration management process.

2.     Execute configuration management process from planning, execution, monitoring and audits.

3.     Provide technical CM support and guidance as needed to ensure the integrity of CM environment and projects.

4.     Ensure proper baseline identification of configuration items.

5.     Define optimum solutions for configuration management process automation

6.     Conduct periodically function and physical audits

7.     Signals any deviation detected in the IT infrastructure or hardware.

8.     Engages with other departments to keep an up-to-date view on their activities.

9.     Responsible for internal and external configuration management artifacts

10.  Communicate reports with higher management levels.

11.  Analyze CM issues and conduct root cause analysis

 

Required skills and qualifications:

1.      Education: BS.C of computer science or Engineering.

2.      Experience: 3+ years.

3.      Understanding of the application development life cycle

4.      Redmine

5.      TFS

6.      Enterprise architect case tool

 

Work contacts:

·        Team leader – working with the team leader effectively working across multiple projects and delivering to deadlines.

·        Developers, UI designers, Graphic designers, QC testers and Portals – working closely with the development/ engineering teams.
